Mr. Juan González

I was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, where I completed my early education at Colegio Ponceño in 1981. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayagüez in 1986 and obtained my Juris Doctor from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico – Ponce in 1990, the same year I was admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico. Later, I pursued advanced legal studies, completing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Tulane University in 1994.

For nearly 31 years, I dedicated my legal career in Puerto Rico to civil law, civil litigation, administrative law, and appellate law. In 2021, I relocated to the United States and began practicing immigration law across several states. Since September 2023, I have been based in Houston, Texas, where I exclusively focus on immigration law.

Immigration law has been one of the most rewarding challenges of my career. Beyond its complexity, it carries a deeply human and social component that distinguishes it from other areas of law. I am committed to using my decades of legal experience to guide and represent individuals and families in their pursuit of a better future in the United States. Clients can trust that I bring not only knowledge and skill, but also compassion and dedication to every case.
